Thermal Machine Operator

Key Functions And Responsibilities

• Day to day operation of our ALURO thermal break machine, including picking, checking, knurling, zipping together and packing thermally broken products into skips.
• QA checking of finished products and packing dual colour orders into cases ready for dispatch to APL customers.
• Work with the Store Manager, Thermal Heart/Anodising and/or ALURO Technician to understand startup, shutdown, performing tool changes and QA checking to ensure products are within specification.
• Promptly report any breakdowns or products out of specification as a matter of urgency to minimise machine downtime or loss of production.
• QA checking and packing of anodised products using our automated sorting table and spiral wrap machine.
• Other tasks as may be required by agreement from time to time.
