The Senior Therapist Assistant assists Physiotherapists in the supervision of patients as well as the implementation of therapy interventions and outcome measures for routine patient cases.

He/She will independently apply prescribed therapeutic modalities for routine patients as well as perform simple assessment procedures and outcome measures as instructed by the Physiotherapist. In addition, he/she may independently conduct group therapy sessions for low complexity patients.

He/she will aid in the provision of training and development of junior Job Grade (JG) 5-7 TA through conducting orientations, co-supervising and delivering selected training modules for continuing professional development.

He/She will be responsible for operational and administrative tasks such as manpower scheduling, housekeeping and ensuring standards of inventory and equipment maintenance.
