Responsibilities
- Assist the Physiotherapist (PT) and Occupational Therapist (OT) in setting up residents and clients on therapeutic equipment.
- Assist the PT and OT in setting up and implementing therapeutic intervention and exercises according to resident’s and client’s care plan.
- Assist in running group therapy, conduct recreational and wellness program for the resident and clients.
- Assist OT in the fabrication of orthosis necessary for rehabilitation.
- Assist with basic administrative duties within work area.
- Co-ordinate portering of residents/clients to and from the ward to exercise gyms for therapy activities.
- Assist with handling enquiries, answer phone calls, record and convey messages.
- Assist with maintenance and storage of all therapy equipment and supplies in the department.
