Responsibilities
- Assist the Physiotherapist (PT) and Occupational Therapist (OT) in setting up residents and clients on therapeutic equipment.
- Assist the PT and OT in setting up and implementing therapeutic intervention and exercises according to residents' and clients' care plans.
- Assist in running group therapy, and conduct recreational and wellness programs for residents and clients.
- Assist OT in the fabrication of orthoses necessary for rehabilitation.
- Assist with basic administrative duties within the work area.
- Coordinate portering of residents/clients to and from the ward to exercise gyms for therapy activities.
- Assist with handling enquiries, answer phone calls, record and convey messages.
- Assist with maintenance and storage of all therapy equipment and supplies in the department.
