Therapy Assistant

At NTUC Health, we believe seniors can lead exciting, purpose-driven lives. As a Therapy Assistant, you will assist therapists in safe resident handling and care during treatments.

• Assist the Therapist or exercise trainer with therapy treatments or fitness programmes.
• Transport residents safely to and from treatment areas, secure them into or onto therapy equipment.
• Motivate and assist residents/clients to practice exercises and functional activities under broad supervision.
• Conduct group exercises such as circuit training or Occupational Therapy (OT) groups.
• Observe clients during treatment to note responses and progress.
• Report progress to a Therapist or Exercise Trainer for quality care improvement.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the therapy area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
