Therapy Aide

1. Carry out the daily therapy routines of the Therapy Department, by administering the prescribed physiotherapy exercises and occupation‑focused therapeutic interventions to the Residents and the Day Activity Centre (DAC) clients, specific to the requirements of the Beneficiaries.

2. Train the Residents and the DAC Clients in Basic Activities of Daily Living (BADL) skills such as transfers, bed mobility, functional mobility (e.g. ambulation or wheelchair mobility), and toileting; as well as, Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) skills such as hot beverage preparation, laundry care, safe community mobility, and using simple assistive household appliances or aids.

3. Facilitate group therapy interventions for both the Residents and the DAC Clients; and engage the Beneficiaries in crafts, physiotherapy exercises, urban farming, hydrotherapy, and other social recreational activities such as karaoke and movie screening.
