Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Recruit experienced or inexperienced theatre practitioners either RGN or ODP to join our team. Experience in scrub, circulating roles and anaesthetics is desirable but not required.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, work well in a multidisciplinary team and have evidence of continuing professional development.
• Specialties in day surgery/short‑stay theatres at QMH include gynaecology, urology, general surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, oral/max and breast surgery.
• Hours are full‑time, Monday to Friday with a variety of shifts over 5 days; flexible and able to work across both sites: Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
• Be a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
