Term Apprenticeship Officer(O/ODA/Term ApO/07/26)

Major Duties

: (a) To discharge the functions of ODA with respect to apprenticeship training and in accordance with Apprenticeship Ordinance (Cap. 47), including: (i) To administer apprenticeship training and other schemes regarding the employment and training of apprentices; (ii) To advise and assist employers in the training and employment of apprentices; (iii) To coordinate with other operational units for arranging complementary training to apprentices and monitoring their study performances; (iv) To mentor and coach apprentices; (v) To liaise with internal operational units and external stakeholders (e.g. schools, industries, employers’ associations, and government departments) for the development and promotion of apprenticeship; (vi) To assist in conducting complaint investigations and dispute conciliation between employers and apprentices; (b) To promote, advise and assist employers and apprentices in the engagement of schemes available including Earn and Lea...
