Job Description
What you will need to do:
Analyze tender specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other quantitative reports as required.Prepare material and subcontractor enquiries.Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive and consistent quotations are received.Evaluate material and subcontractor quotations.Develop detailed cost estimates including both direct and indirect costs.Assist in the preparation of the tender schedule.Create Level 2 schedules.Assist in the compilation of technical submittals.Maintain comprehensive records of cost estimation data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for future reference.Prepare risk and opportunity analyses.Perform commercial engineering tasks, including selling price analysis and pricing estimates.
