Temporary Aquatic Supervisor

The City of Grande Prairie’s Recreation department is seeking a skilled and experienced temporary Aquatics Supervisor to lead lifeguarding operations, facility safety, and pool maintenance coordination at the Eastlink Centre Aquatics and the Aquatera Outdoor Pool.

Position Responsibilities

The Aquatics Supervisor ensures compliance with industry standards and risk management, delivering a safe and welcoming environment for staff and patrons. Key duties include:

• Providing leadership to Lifeguards, Aquatic Assistants, and Pool Operators, overseeing training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Enforcing facility safety protocols and coordinating emergency response procedures.
• Managing water quality to maintain regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
