What you will do:

The Equine and Nemo Farm Animal Hospital (ENFAH) is seeking a 6-month temporary Animal Attendant to work with faculty clinicians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs), Interns, and Residents, as well as other staff throughout the hospital, providing optimal patient care for our clients/owners. 

Specifically, the Animal Attendants will:

  • Perform large animal care and handling, as well as washing and disinfecting all areas in the ENFAH, including stalls, treatment rooms, breezeway, etc., as well as disinfecting any equipment associated with milking or other animal care-related tasks.
  • Complete clean up activities of farrier shop and other areas as directed by operations manager.
  • Provide general care to patients, such as feeding, water, grooming, picking hooves, and bathing, as needed, as well as bed stalls.
  • Assist clinicians and technicians in the operating room, following all infection control protocols.
