TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the Operations Department, Technical Control, Operations Department of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC. Responsibilities You will monitor the timely delivery of message traffic between communications facilities, aircraft and Afloat forces. You will ensure the availability and functionality of the TCF telecommunications equipment system to include the Automated Network Control Center. You will monitor, patching, and operating digital, analog, audio, and optical circuitry within a Technical Control Facility (TCF) or similar network operations center. You will be configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining High Frequency (HF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) satellite communications systems.
