Telecom Engineer

Raise is currently hiring a Telecom Engineer on behalf of our client. The role is a 2‑year contract based in Burnaby, British Columbia. The position offers a valuable opportunity to work with one of Canada’s largest electrical energy suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning Quality Assurance: Review comprehensive test results for telecom equipment during commissioning to ensure asset performance meets all operational expectations.
• Compliance Documentation: Produce accurate Test Report Cover Sheets (TRCS) to validate equipment readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Standards Management: Review and interpret Commissioning Engineering Standards to maintain utility engineering integrity.
• Project Support: Assist project and operations management in meeting safety, cost, quality, and scheduling goals, including proposing plan adjustments, reviewing contractor deliverables, and preparing progress reports.
