Technology Planning Engineer

This role is based in Huawei Singapore Research Centre. The incumbent will work with the local team on hardware-related, new technologies in consumer business hardware engineering planning. Under the guidance of the technology planning manager, the role includes the responsibilities described below.

• Conduct technology scouting and landscaping in the APAC region; produce insight reports on national strategies, university technologies, key conferences, startups, and related topics.
• Manage and maintain the APAC information and technology resources platform; act as the point of contact for APAC and HQ colleagues. Major tasks include collecting and reviewing information, publishing information online in a timely manner, handling inquiries, and conducting monthly status reviews.
