Technologist - Esoteric Microbiology

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist Trainee join our team in **Phoenix, AZ.**

**Work Schedule:** Monday- Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Overtime required as needed.

**Training Schedule:** Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00 - 4:30 pm.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria

+ Perform routine and complextechnicalprocedures and functions according to departmental Standard OperatingProcedures

+ Monitor, operate andtroubleshootinstrumentation to ensureproper functionality

+ Demonstrate the ability to maketechnical decisions regarding testing andproblem solving

+ Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls

+ Report accurate and timely test resultsin order todeliver quality patient care

+ Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality controlprocedures

+ Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
