Data Center Technician – Amazon Data Services Canada, Inc.

Location

Pointe-Claire, QC, Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Onsite coverage as a Team in shifts and/or weekly on‑call
• Respond to high‑severity events within SLAs
• Participate in data‑center power and cooling events
• Break‑fix of servers and network devices
• Troubleshoot network connections
• Coordinate and build relationships with various data‑center teams
• Interact with third‑party vendors and contractors
• Seek ways to improve processes and systems
• Contribute to the development of other team members

Physical Requirements

Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds. Ability to work in elevated locations. Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including on‑call rotation. Some travel may be required.
