Job Summary

The Technician position is within the Production Department at our Animal Health facility in Charlottetown, P.E.I. The facility manufactures vaccines and biologics used in aquaculture farming. The role supports biologics production, including fermentation, tangential flow filtration, chromatography, cell culture platforms, and sterile filling.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, buffers, and media components for production.
• Carry out bacterial fermentation, downstream processing of plasmid DNA, and blending of final vaccines prior to sterile filling.
• Execute daily production activities, maintaining schedule adherence and quality standards.
• Complete documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices and GMP guidelines.
