What you’ll do…

Performs routine preventive maintenance on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines. Inspects, cleans, and repairs equipment and fixtures. Observes and documents signs of wear and tear. Determines replacement needs to reduce ongoing and future repairs. Performs major and minor repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures using multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment). Inspects, operates, and tests equipment to diagnose issues. Dismantles machines or facilities to access and remove defective parts. Utilizes blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Uses hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other equipment. Responds to emergency calls. Documents repair activities.
