Technical Superintendent

We are supporting a leading international gas carrier owner in the search for a Ship Manager at Technical Superintendent level to join their Singapore office. This is a high responsibility fleet role overseeing 4 to 5 gas and ethylene capable vessels within a modern, globally trading fleet. Responsibilities Ensure the safe and environmentally responsible operation of 4 to 5 fully pressurised, semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers Take technical, operational and financial responsibility for the day-to-day management of assigned vessels Plan and coordinate logistics, spares, inspections and dry dockings, with regular vessel visits throughout the year Monitor budgets and control vessel expenditure in line with approved financial plans Maintain and oversee planned maintenance systems and technical documentation Work closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, Crewing, Vetting and Commercial teams to ensure efficient vessel performance Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, dry doc...
