Technical sales representative (chemical)

Our client, a well-established Chemical Manufacturing company based in Boksburg, is looking to fill the position of Technical Sales Representative (2 year fixed term contract).

Key Responsibilities: To sell a range of plastics / PVC additives to ensure continuous growth in existing markets and to ensure expansion into new markets. Extensive cold calling. Developing new business. Establishing technical requirements specific to customer needs. Good product knowledge and good communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience: Grade 12 Senior Certificate. A chemistry qualification will be an advantage. 5-year technical sales experience in the plastics environment. Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, with strong technical selling ability and a proven track record. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
