Technical Procurement Engineer

This position supports procurement of aerospace materials, components, tools and equipment through supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, and purchase order management.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of aerospace materials, components, tools and equipment
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
• Compare quotations based on price, quality, lead time and technical specifications
• Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• Coordinate with engineering, production, stores and quality departments
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases and documentation
• Assist in vendor evaluation and development
• Ensure purchased items comply with technical and quality requirements
