Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum requirements for the role are as follows:

Proven experience as a Technical Buyer within the electrical, construction, solar PV, renewable energy, or EPC environment. Strong understanding of electrical materials and equipment, including but not limited to: LV and MV cables Cable accessories and terminations Earthing materials DBs, switchgear, MCCs, inverters and transformers Conduits, sleeves and cable management systems Solar plant specific materials such as trackers, module mounting systems, DC string materials, combiner boxes and fibre optic materials Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFQs, comparative adjudications, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up and expediting.
