Technical Advisor - MPD

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for NOV MPD systems, including monitoring, control, and integrated automation solutions.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex MPD-related issues, acting as an escalation point for Tier 2 personnel and customers.
• Analyze MPD system performance, pressure data, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce non‑productive time (NPT).
• Support planning and execution of MPD operations by reviewing system configurations, operational procedures, and pressure management strategies.
• Assist in the detection, analysis, and resolution of pressure events, including kicks, losses, and abnormal well behavior, using real‑time monitoring tools and system diagnostics.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams to support MPD product enhancements, system integration, and performance optimization.
