**Position Purpose**

Responsible as Team Leader over dayshift Patient Access Representatives in Central Scheduling. Coordinates daily activities providing guidance and direction to the team to ensure that the department goals and achieved efficiently and effectively. Works with manager to coordinate and direct the activities on a daily basis. Team Leaders are responsible for maintaining harmony and team spirit within the team, the Admissions Department, and all other departments.

+ Monitoring productivity and performance of Access Center Representatives for appointments, prior authorizations and outreach
+ Schedule and register patient prior to appointments
+ Inbound and outbound calls to schedule patient appointments
