Teaching Associate in Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience (2x Posts)

We are seeking to appoint two Teaching Associates in Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience (Grade I) to join our teaching team. The roles focus on the contribution to the delivery, development and assessment of physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience and histology teaching (and teaching-related activities) within our undergraduate BSc programmes and programmes with open units in these disciplines, in addition to the basic science teaching delivered on the medical, dental, veterinary science programmes. The role holders will deliver teaching via a variety of methods including practical classes, tutorials and simulation sessions.

An important aspect of the roles is to enthusiastically illustrate the concepts, relevance and application of physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience and histology to the study of medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and the biomedical sciences in general through drawing on the role holder’s recent professional experience, either in re...
