Teaching Assistant

This role is based within a specialist SEND setting supporting pupils with a wide range of complex learning needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), physical disabilities, and communication needs. You will support pupils following semi-formal and informal learning pathways, helping them access a highly personalised curriculum tailored to their individual needs.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely alongside the class teacher and wider support team to provide high-quality assistance throughout the school day. You will build positive relationships with pupils, encourage engagement in learning activities, promote communication and independence, and assist with personal care where required.
