This full-time, long-term role involves providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who has very limited verbal communication. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the child's learning, communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day. Due to the pupil's communication needs, experience and confidence using Makaton and/or PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) is essential for this role.
