Teacher – Grade 1 Generalist (Full-time, Temporary)

Location: Crescent Valley School – Hinton, AB.

Start Date: Start of the school year until June 29, 2027, or upon the return of the incumbent, whichever happens sooner.

Hours of Work: 1.0 FTE Monday‑Friday.

The competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

Crescent Valley School is an elementary school in Hinton, Alberta providing excellent education to approximately 250 students, grades K‑7.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to promote high quality student‑centered learning.
• Design and prepare lessons based on curriculum and teach using a variety of methodologies including lectures, demonstrations and discussions.
