SUMMARY:

Teacher of the Visually Impaired serves students birth through age 21 and provides assessment, instruction, consultation, and support to promote student access, independence, and success across school settings.

• Orientation & Mobility (O&M) certification is preferred but not required. Applicants without O&M certification are fully eligible and will not be disqualified.

COMPENSATION OPTIONS:

• Hourly 1099 independent contractor rate: $80/hour 
• Salaried w2 employee, 10-month position: $83,000 with paid time off and benefits

SCHEDULE:

• Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours/day
• 194 days/year (10-month position)
• Part-time contractor option available
