Teacher - Community Learning (Adults) (Fixed Term, Part Time)

Leeds City College are recruiting for a Community Learning Teacher to join our team. 

This role is part time 18.5 hours per week and fixed term until July 2027. The pro rata salary commences at £15,958 with progression to £17,956 per annum.

This role sits within the Adult, Community and ESOL department and is based in a variety of community settings across Leeds.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

Ability to lead and facilitate group activities, fostering positive group dynamics, managing conflict, and promoting teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport, motivate, and empower adults who are returning to education from a variety of backgrounds.

Must possess empathy and understanding for the unique challenges faced by asylum seekers, refugees and unemployed.
