We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Teacher - Certified teacher.

In this role, the successful candidate Under the supervision of the Education Director of the Center, the certified teachers shall be responsible for working within the framework of Sunset Park Health Council, DOE, DOHMH, NAEYC, and Quality Stars NY standards, policies and procedures. Teachers promote early childhood education for children and families both in and out of the classroom by providing sound supervision, developmentally appropriate lessons and community outings, and ensuring the health and safety of all children. Teachers develop positive parent relations and encourage parental involvement and the professional growth of classroom associates. Additionally, teachers conduct regular team meetings, attend staff meetings and seek out professional development opportunities to meet the needs of their classrooms.
