Teacher (C) - Old Colony Correctional Center

**Duties**:** · Work within a correctional setting to provide instruction to an adult incarcerated population with various medical, psychosocial, and/or educational deficits. · Teach academic classes to multi-leveled students as assigned by supervisor in the subject areas of: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. · Differentiate instruction for low-level or English Second Language learners. · Utilize research-based practices, current instructional methods, and subject-based curriculum to ensure effective instruction. · Work with Education Division and Institutional Administration staff to ensure success in the delivery of effective instruction in a secure setting. · Complete student attendance daily and student performance ratings monthly; update student case plans; and provide documentation as required by Division and Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). · Provide documentation as need for statutory earned good time (EGT) and academic boosts. · Complete mand...
