Tax Accounting Clerk

**Job Title: Accounting Clerk **
Location: Tampa, FL
Shift: 1 st - 8:00am- 5:00 PM Monday- Friday
Pay Rate: $26.00 an hour
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; 3 month contract

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Oversee and support indirect tax compliance processes, including coordination of data and payment requests with third-party advisors for:
+ Prepare and file select indirect tax returns, including:
+ Assist with tax registrations and other miscellaneous compliance-related filings
+ Provide support for direct tax compliance as needed, including
+ Monitor and summarize developments in tax legislation and assess potential impacts
+ Perform tax research and document conclusions

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
+ 1–2 years of public accounting and/or corporate tax experience preferred
