Duties and responsibilities included: Accounting Preparation of Annual Financial Statements Manage control assessment tracking system CATS (internal Audit) Cash flow management External Audit Fulfill the role of contact point for External Auditors by providing information required and assist with completion of the audit. Resolve queries raised by External Auditors to complete audit. Assist with External Audit as contact point, info gathering and prep Tax and Statutory Completion of Corporate Income Tax together with all related schedules Transfer Pricing Deferred and Provisional Tax Monthly VAT Returns Filings and calculations Expat tax returns Tax management Liaise with SARS Fixed Asset / Inventory Management Maintain the fixed asset register Assist by conducting bi-annual Fixed Asset and Inventory counts Complete Fixed Asset Reports Month end closing assistance Assist with month end closing (Full function) to be available to act as back up for Finance Manager.
