Systems & Infrastructure Engineer

Essential Requirements: Matric Certificate. Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, IS or related field (preferred). Additional professional certifications highly desirable. Minimum 5 years experience in IT. Experience in hybrid Exchange environments. Disaster recovery planning and testing experience. Endpoint management (Intune / RMM tools). Storage technologies (SAN/NAS). Security best practices & hardening. Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure. Experience with on-prem Active Directory. Experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper-V). Backup technologies (Veeam preferred). Networking fundamentals: VLAN configuration Layer 2/Layer 3 concepts Switch configuration Firewall basics Solid PowerShell skills (preferred). Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate complex technical jargon into understandable information for stakeholder.
