Systems administrator (linux)

My client is the largest company of its kind in the UK and has a huge online presence. They are currently recruiting for a number of key positions within IT and one of them is a Senior Linux support Administrator.

You will already be an experienced Linux Systems Administrator with strong Linux and virtualization skills. Your responsibilities include the provision of 3rd line support to ensure high-availability of my client’s online environments (development, test & production).

Solid experience (at least 3-4 years) with Linux servers in virtualized environments. Familiarity, if not fully proficient with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages, Bash, Perl, etc. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Tomcat, Apache, My SQL, POSTGRESQL, etc. Configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
