System Administrator

Support Staff – Oshawa, ON

Full‑time, regular position in IT Services – ICT Infrastructure.

Hours: 40 hours per week (1 hour lunch each day); Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Reports to: Manager, Data Centre and Infrastructure. Campus Location: Oshawa.

Responsibilities

• Provide third‑level support for all UNIX/Linux & Windows servers, Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure, data centre infrastructure, and systems monitoring/management infrastructure support.
• Manage projects to completion, including requirements determination, documentation, planning, technical solutions, implementation strategy, and deployment, in accordance with IT Services standards and procedures.
• Ensure service levels are met with a focus on customer service, through excellent communication, follow‑up, system stability, and compliance with ITIL best practices.
