SW 200-001 Introduction to Social Work Fall 2026 - Remote via Zoom

Position Summary

The Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following Regina in person course during the Fall 2026 semester:

SW 200 – Introduction to Social Work
This course introduces students to the profession of social work, its theory and practice. Students examine the philosophy and practice of social work in Canada, both in First Nations and non-First Nations communities.

The semester class period is from September 1, 2026 to December 22, 2026 with the final exam period running from December 9, 2026 to December 22, 2026.

Sessional Lecturers that are teaching remote delivery courses are expected to teach 13 synchronous classes throughout the semester.
