Sustaining Product Engineer (Cable)

Summary

/Objective: The Sustaining Product Engineer provides technical support for the manufacturing floor for released cable products/processes as well as new product introductions. The main focus of this role is on successful transition of new products into production, scaling and supporting existing products and line extensions, and continuous improvement manufacturing of key performance indicators. Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Provide sustaining engineering support for released cable products acting as liaison between engineering, production, quality, and operations.

Provide technical support for nonconforming material investigations and unplanned machine/process issues using structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.

Support the new product introduction (NPI) process to ensure seamless transition into production.
