Energy Corps Member Responsibilities
The Energy Corps member will conduct research on making the NCAT SIFT (Small-Scale Intensive Farm Training) Farm more energy efficient and provide better energy functionality. They will collaborate with the Sustainable Agriculture Project Coordinator and the Farm Manager to identify resources and opportunities for the SIFT Farm to expand its use of energy efficient technology and research work.
They will help complete and distribute a Guide for Resilient Rural Communities to help small towns and cities develop their economy, strengthen community partnerships, develop local food and energy solutions, prepare for weather‑related shocks and stresses, and strengthen local self‑reliance.
