Supply Technician

Summary This position is located in the Central Warehouse, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station Great Lakes. The Central Warehouse is established for the purpose of receiving, handling, storing, issuing and accountability of food stuffs, supplies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, retail merchandise and physical properties ordered by the MWR Department. Incumbent will act as the primary POC for all warehouse operations. Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 50% - Responsible for the accuracy of the computer database of all inventory items maintained by the Central Warehouse Verifies all incoming and outgoing orders for quantity, pricing and expiration dates Verifies quantities required for restocking orders as needed Issues warehouse and delivery assignments to the warehouse driver/s 30% - Verifies expiration dates on all products to eliminate avoidable losses Is the second signature for accuracy verification on all outgoing orders Assists with th...
