Supplier Quality Technician

Job Summary

The Supplier Quality Technician is responsible for running and managing the inspection of incoming materials, calibrations of measurement equipment, metrology and assisting the Engineer, Supplier Quality or superior on any assignments assigned. Key important skills with background on operating metrology equipment on high complex mechanical materials.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials/components according to procedures.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure data entered into the computer and/or SAP system.
• Assist Supplier Quality Engineers in development of test methods and execution of test method validation.
• Maintain calibration of all measuring and testing equipment and coordinate with calibration vendors to carry out calibration activities.
• Train and guide inspectors on performing daily routine task and inspection process.
