SUPERVISORY TRAINING SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Training Specialist in the Production Resources Department (900), Production Workforce Development and Resource Manager (900B), Consolidated Training Division (900T), Nuclear Training Branch (900T.4) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will plan work assignments to training instructors/specialists and other training personnel. You will research, develop and approve training courses. You will direct the nuclear and refueling training needs for the shop. You will coordinate the training schedule and allocation of required facilities and equipment. You will direct studies, surveys, drills and internal audits to ensure shipyard requirements are met. You will review budget requests and review reports to track expenditures to ensure proper utilization of training funds.
