Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist

Summary About the Position: Incumbent serves as Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist in the Domestic Operations Branch, Movement Operations Division. Incumbent has nationwide responsibility for the development, implementation and evaluation of transportation and freight movements associated with the use of commercial and Defense Freight Railway Interchange Fleet railcars. Position requires in-depth understanding of traffic management principles via all modes of transportation. Responsibilities Design and/or execute special studies and surveys of domestic rail transportation operations. Provide technical advice for stakeholders, including shipper services, transportation service providers, military installations, and field activities, on matters related to domestic freight movement.
