Summary The position is located in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), Information Engineering Branch (IEB). Responsibilities As a Supervisory Technical Information Specialist, you will: Be responsible for the day-to-day first line supervision of professional staff as well as providing oversight to contract staff. Manage the day-to-day operational activities, including establishing short- and long-term goals, operational plans and program direction and priorities for the group. Serve as a national authority and provide authoritative advice and consultation on strategy, design, and user support issues relating to the Literature products, which are used by millions of users throughout the world every day and the NIH Manuscript Submission System that supports the NIH Public Access Policy and supplies articles to PubMed Central (PMC).
