SUPERVISORY SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the SAFETY DEPARTMENT of NAVAL STATION. Responsibilities You will administer a safety and occupational health program in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements. You will interpret policy to guide and aid commands in the improvement of their overall safety performance You will identify developmental and training needs of employees to maintain staff knowledge of procedures and regulations. You will use Safety and Occupational Health principles, practice and procedures to develop and recommend the implementation and management of safety and health programs. You will deliver safety education training programs to address the needs identified through established requirements, inspections, and evaluations.
