SUPERVISORY REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Regional Dispatch Center Specialist of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. Responsibilities You will provide full supervision for all aspects of the 24/7 Regional Dispatch Center (RDC) Dispatcher and Shift Lead personnel. You will plan, direct, coordinate, schedule, train, and evaluate the work of subordinate staff. You will provide supervision of dispatchers while responding to emergency 9-1-1 service calls. reporting unusual and non-routine fire, police, medical and hazardous incidents. You will test and evaluate the operation of emergency radio systems, enhanced 9-1-1 telephone system, and direct emergency and non-emergency telephone lines from the activities serviced.
