Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist

Summary This position serves as a Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist in any organizational unit within the National park Service (NPS). The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of administrative duties that are associated with the management of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under the authority of Federal laws and regulations such as Federal Lads Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA). Responsibilities At the full performance level (GS-9) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: This position will provide support in overseeing the daily operations of complex fee collection program which includes cabin camps, campgrounds, special use permits, and commercial use authorizations. Staff reporting directly to the incumbent include seasonal staff, a seasonal lead and volunteer camp hosts.
