Supervisory Park Ranger (Protection)

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Park Ranger (Protection) for the Grand Canyon National Park, Visitor & Resource Protection Division, North Rim for the National Park Service. Due to the Dragon Bravo Fire, the North Rim position will be temporarily assigned to the South Rim until conditions allow the incumbent to return. The incumbent should expect frequent travel during this period. Occupancy of government quarters is required. Incentives up to 15% may be authorized. Responsibilities Some of the major duties you will perform include, but are not limited, to the following: Lead and supervise permanent and seasonal law enforcement staff who protect visitors and park resources in a challenging outdoor environment. Manage daily operations by scheduling staff, approving leave and training, reviewing incident reports, completing performance evaluations, and addressing performance and conduct issues in line with policy.
