Supervisory Nurse

Summary This position is located in the Health Care Services, Nursing Service. The primary purpose is to assist the Supervisory Clinical Nurses in managing and directing nursing care required for off tours of duty acting as the nurse supervisor and resource person to all areas (Long Term Care, Memory Support, Assisted Living, Independent Living Plus and Independent Living). Responsibilities As a/an Supervisory Nurse, you will: Supervise Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), students and external agency personnel, makes assignments in accordance with established written AFRH, Nursing Service and State Nurse Practice guidelines. Evaluate staffing levels and coordinates requests with Nursing Service. Monitor the availability of supplies and plans for replacement of necessary items.
